Restoration of old elephant corridors and new elephant corridors to reduce Human-Elephant Conflict in Jharkhand using GIS & Other Techniques.

Objectives of the project :

• To study & understand the interactions of human and elephant in and around the existing elephant corridors
• To identify alternative new corridors for elephants (based on availability of food, water and shelter)
• To find suitable measures to improve identified new alternative corridors and viable existing corridors.
